 ABB IMDSI02 Digital Slave Input Module The Digital Slave Input Module (IMDSI02) is an interface used to bring 16 independent process field signals into the Infi 90 process management system. The master module uses these digital inputs to monitor and control the process. The Digital Slave Input Module (IMDSI02) brings 16 independent digital signals into the Infi 90 system for processing and monitoring. It connects the process field inputs with the Infi 90 process management system.Contact closures, switches, or solenoids are examples of devices that provide digital signals. The master module provides control functions; the slave modules provide I/O. Like all Infi 90 modules, the modular design of the DSI module gives you flexibility in developing your process management strategy. It brings 16 independent digital signals (24 VDC, 125 VDC, and 120 VAC) into the system. Individual voltage and response time jumpers on the module configure each input. Selectable response time (fast or slow) for the DC inputs allows the Infi 90 system to compensate for debounce times of process field devices. Front panel LED status indicators provide visual indication of input status to aid in system testing and diagnostics.
